Janet E. Sims

Janet E. Sims age 86 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Wednesday November 26, 2025. She was born October 21, 1939 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late Beve Wyatt and Bessie Smith Wyatt. She was married to James P. Sims and he preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Sims worked as a cafeteria manager in the Hamilton City Schools and was a long time member of the East River Road Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters Linda (Glenn) Smith and Amy (David) Saylor; grandchildren Daniel Smith, the late Holly Smith, and Madison (Derek) Wetzel; great grandchildren Esther and Archie Wetzel; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her long time companion Bill Bowling. A graveside service for Mrs. Sims will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday December 3, 2025 in Rose Hill Burial Park, with Pastor David Haarmeyer officiating. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton Unit. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Fairfield is serving the family.
