Janet G. Lawson

Janet G. Lawson age 65 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday May 22, 2024. She was born August 29, 1958 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Oakley McQueen and the late Esther Nolan McQueen. On August 30, 1974 she married Frank Lawson. Janet was a 1976 graduate of Fairfield High School. She worked at Schneider Electric for 25 years and also at Western States Machinery for 22 years. She attended Calvary Christian Church. Janet loved her family dearly, “mothered” most everyone she met and enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by her father Oakley McQueen; her husband of nearly 50 years, Frank Lawson; her daughter Christy (Jamie) Asher; grandson Daniel Asher; one sister Donna Pater and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends. She was also preceded in death by her sister Kimberly Burnett. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Jim Mullins, officiating.
