James "Jim" Roland Williams

James R. Williams age 91 of West Chester passed away Sunday December 5, 2021. He was born March 1, 1930 in Maud, Ohio the son of the late Carroll Lee Williams and Frances (nee Rosenbalm) Williams. Mr. Williams was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and worked as an electronic technician. He was a long time member of the West Chester Presbyterian Church and served for a time as a West Chester Township Trustee. On September 17, 1949 he married Mary Jo Summy Williams and she preceded him in death on August 24, 2017. He is survived by his children Rob (June) Williams, Karen (Michael Toney) Barcus, Lynn (Rob) Pollard, and the late Curt Williams; daughter in law Karen Williams; grandchildren Mark, Megan, Bryan, April, Jim, Richie, Phillip, Brad, Michelle, Daniel, Josh, Kelly, Amanda, Becky, Tyler, Sam, and David; and a host of great grandchildren. Mr. Williams is also survived by two brothers John (Tina) Williams and Frank (Barbara) Williams, and several great grandchildren. Visitation at the West Chester Presbyterian Church, 8930 Cincinnati-Dayton Road on Wednesday December 8, 2021 from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM, with Rev. Tyler Pettigrew, officiating. Burial to follow with full military honors in Brookside Cemetery, West Chester Township.
