James "Jim" Ping

James E. Ping age 68, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Jim was born in Somerset Ky on July 31, 1955, to the late James E. Ping and Jeanette (nee Owens) Smith. Jim graduated from Fairfield High School in 1974. He worked as a commercial truck driver for over 30 years. Jim was a devoted husband, father and papaw. He enjoyed working in his yard, classic western shows, Corvettes, Elvis Presley and most of all, he treasured his time with his grandkids and loved being their Papaw.

Jim is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jennifer Ping; his children, Charles (Stacy) Rosenbalm, Jennifer (Jason) Smith, Justin (Courtney) Rosenbalm; his grandchildren, Mady, Kobe, Jaydah, Kearstyn, Brystol, Sophie, and Tommy James; and his siblings, Brenda, Candy, and Tina.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Darleen “Lucy”.
