James J Van Winkle

James J. “Cookie” Van Winkle age 42 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday September 12, 2021. He was born on March 18, 1979 in Hamilton the son of Ronnie Van Winkle and Brenda (nee Bond) Defelice. James worked as a concrete finisher for many years. He is survived by his father Ronnie (Karen) Van Winkle; his mother Brenda (Ronnie Branum) Defelice; one son Clay Van Winkle; two brothers Christopher Haynes and Shawn Van Winkle; sister Carrie (Ronnie) Thomas; grandmother Helen Van Winkle; step brother Justin Campbell; his girlfriend Crystal Reed and her daughter Tegan; and step father Mark Campbell. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeremy Haynes; his grandfather Raymond Van Winkle; his uncle Rickey Van Winkle; and his cousin RJ Shockey. Memorial services will be at a later date.
