Henry Walter Kunka

Henry W. Kunka age 92 of Hamilton passed away on Monday April 3, 2023. He was born on June 20, 1930 in Hamilton the son of the late Peter and Viola (nee Bochenek) Kunka. Henry was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War and was awarded a Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars. He was a machinist and supervisor at Hamilton Tool and Die for many years. Henry was married to Doris Kunka and she preceded him in death in 1997. Henry is survived by one son Michael (the late Paula) Kunka; two grandchildren Tanya (John) Davenport and David France; one step granddaughter Amy (Joseph Reckelhoff) Hopkins-Mounce and her daughter Amber (Ethan) Lones; four great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren. Henry was also preceded in death by his daughter Susan Shiflett; seven siblings Geneva Schmidt, Edward Kunka, Sophia Wagner, Helen Kunka, Joseph Kunka, Cecilia Doppleb, and Stanley Kunka. Visitation will be on Friday April 14, 2023 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Elder John Davenport officiating.
