Gregg S. Smith

Gregg S. Smith age 58 of Batavia passed away Wednesday March 29, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 3, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Linda Burgin Smith and the late Ronald Smith. Gregg worked for many years as a machinist. He adored his grandchildren and also loved his brothers in Aeolus motorcycle club. He is survived by his mother Linda Smith; wife Kathy Smith; son Tyler Smith; four grandchildren Wrangler, Remington, Gunner, and Dixie Lou; and two sisters Rhonda (Greg) Gordon and Heather (Joe) Bell. Also surviving are Heidi Mahaon and Steven Birchwell (Mom and Dad to Wrangler, Gunner, and Dixie Lou), mother-in-law Velma (the late James) Bonner, brother-in-law Joe Berkheimer, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gregg was preceded in death by his son Ronald Dakota Smith and his brother Bradley Smith (Jennifer). Visitation at the VFW Hall, 4283 Stoddard Lane, Batavia, Ohio 45013 on Saturday April 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
