Gladys F. Taveras

Gladys F. Taveras, age 77, of Fairfield Township, peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She was born on February 16, 1949, in the Dominican Republic, the beloved daughter of the late Fermin and Caridad (née Valdez) Taveras.

She is survived by her siblings, Isidra Taveras and Marcos Marrero, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Rafael Genaro Taveras and Tomas Marrero.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memory her three devoted children: Robert Mena; Ana (Pedro) Labrador; and Fermin (Zaira Flete) Peralta; twelve beloved grandchildren: Charlinette Pascual; Chastity (Nathan) Nixon; Wesley Mena; Michael Mena; Somayris (Uriel) Pinacho; Luis Sosa; Kevin Mena; Eliana Sofia Medina; Haziel Encarnacion; Anais Labrador; Gabriel Mena; and Justin Mena; and fifteen treasured great-grandchildren: Zaydian Garcia Pascual; Zion Nixon; Isaiah Nixon; Rosalie Pinacho; Zya Garcia Pascual; Elijah Nixon; Zahra Garcia Pascual; Adriel Pinacho; Immanuel Nixon; Brielle Mena; Evaliana Hill; ZoAna Nixon; Shirel Pinacho; Elyse Hill; and Zasha Garcia Pascual.

Visitation will be on Monday March 2, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM. Burial to follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at
