Gerald Lee “Jerry” Tucker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on July 19, 1957, Jerry lived a life filled with love, laughter, family, friendship, sports, music, and a lifelong passion for bowling. To know Jerry was to know how deeply he loved his family. His daughters held a special place in his heart, and becoming a grandfather brought him a joy that was beyond words. His grandchildren, Braylin Sandlin, Isaiah Tanner, and Ellie Grace Tanner, were among the greatest loves of his life. He treasured every moment he shared with them and will forever be remembered as a loving grandfather who was incredibly proud of his family. Jerry was married to the love of his life, Tracey Tucker, for 19 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tracey; his daughters, Amanda Sandlin (Justin Tanner) and Shayla Halbeisen (Jack Halbeisen); and his three grandchildren, Braylin, Isaiah, and Ellie Grace. For much of his life, Jerry could be found bowling in various bowling lanes across the country. It was far more than a hobby; bowling was an important part of who he was. It brought him countless memories, friendships, and moments of happiness throughout the years. Jerry especially cherished the people he met through the sport, including his two lifelong friends, Gary Thomas and Chris Woods. The friendships he formed along the way were a meaningful part of his life and will remain a lasting part of his legacy. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Gill, and her husband, Jim; his father, Kenneth Tucker; and his brother, Phillip Tucker, who held an especially important place in Jerry’s heart. The bond between brothers was something Jerry carried with him throughout his life, and Phillip’s memory remained deeply meaningful to him. Jerry will be remembered for the love he had for his daughters and grandchildren, the devotion he shared with Tracey, his passion for bowling, his love of sports and music, and the friendships that meant so much to him. Above all, he will be remembered for the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
