In Loving Memory of George N. Livelsburger

March 25, 1939 – August 28, 2026

George N. Livelsburger, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind treasured memories and a beautiful legacy of laughter, generosity, and love. George worked for Liberal Supermarkets for 20 years before spending more than 12 years working in the coal mines of southeastern Kentucky. He then worked for Hillshire Farm and Kahn’s in Cincinnati, where he remained until his retirement. Throughout his life, George worked hard and took great pride in all that he did. Those who knew him will always remember his generous heart, wonderful sense of humor, warm smile, and unmistakable laugh. He had a special way of brightening a room and bringing joy to those around him. Roller skating was one of George’s greatest passions. He spent many happy years skating at Tri-Skateland and Florence Fundome, where he became a familiar and beloved presence. At Florence Fundome, he volunteered as a floor guard and, with patience, encouragement, and a friendly smile, taught countless children and adults how to skate. Through the years, he formed lasting friendships and became a special part of the lives of generations of skaters and their families. George also enjoyed remodeling, painting, and mowing. He found satisfaction in working with his hands, especially when he could use his abilities to help someone else. It was not unusual to find him mowing a neighbor’s yard after finishing his own simply because he saw a need. Helping others came naturally to George, and his quiet acts of kindness touched more lives than he likely ever realized. Above all, George loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His family was his greatest pride, and he cherished every moment spent with those he loved. George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Livelsburger; his parents, Forest and Edna Pearl Livelsburger; his brother, Forrest Livelsburger; his sister, Roberta McCroskey; his brother-in-law, Ronald McCroskey; and his sister-in-law, Gail Livelsburger. He is survived by his children, Tim Livelsburger (Denise), Scott Livelsburger (Susie), Kristy Davidson (Rod), and Chanda Nicholas (Brent); his grandchildren, Raven Livelsburger, Scyler Livelsburger, Timmy Livelsburger, Taylor Livelsburger, Bradee Davidson, Baylee Caldwell (Blake), Alexus King (Zach), and Hailey Nicholas; his great-grandson, Jarred Livelsburger; his brother, Jimmy Livelsburger of Hamilton, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whom he loved greatly. George never measured the value of his life by what he possessed, but by what he could give to others. Whether through a helping hand, a shared laugh, or a simple act of kindness, he made life a little brighter for everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though he is no longer with us, George’s love will live on through his family, and the memories he created will be cherished for generations to come. A life well lived. A laugh never forgotten. A love that will remain forever in our hearts. A graveside service for George will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday September 3, 2026 in Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio, with Rev. Rod Davidson, officiating.
