George Franklin Lovins

George Franklin Lovins age 68 of New Miami, OH went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday October 9, 2023. George was born on January 30, 1955 in Hamilton the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (nee Farthing) Lovins. George was a one-of-a-kind soul; he never met a stranger. He was known for front porch sitting, his coal black hair, his love for clocks, loved singing his karaoke and listening to some pickin’ and grinnin’ of that Bluegrass Gospel. George has so much love for his family and all the people that he knew, but his greater love was Jesus Christ. George was an avid member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Hamilton, OH. George is survived by his siblings Donna Spurgeon, Faye (Mike) Craycraft, Mary (Doug) Goins, Buttons (Denny) Fields, Robert (Wilma) Lovins, Rhonda (Terry Allen) Lovins, and Albert Lovins; twenty-one nieces and nephews; thirty-seven great nieces and nephews; thirty great great nieces and nephews; Uncle James (Edith) Farthing. He also leaves behind many cousins, church family and friends. George was preceded in death by his parents; brother Charles “Bud” Lovins; sisters Jean Withrow, Kaye and Sandy Lovins, brothers in law Larry Withrow and Garland Spurgeon; nephew Gary Egner; great nephew Grayson Combs. Time will not dim the face we love and the voice we hear each day, the many memories we have of you and in your own special way. All of our lives, we will miss you, as the years come and go but in our hearts we’ll keep you, because we love you so. Visitation will be on Thursday October 12, 2023 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 5:00PM- 8:00PM. The funeral will be held at 1:00PM on Friday October 13, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Arthur McFarland officiating. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
