Ernest Gentry

Ernest Gentry age 62, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. He was born on May 23, 1962, to the late Burlon E. and Beanna (Ross) Gentry in Hamilton, Ohio. Ernest was a hairdresser for many years, he enjoyed painting and drawing. Ernest loved to dance, most of all ballroom dance. He danced for Authur Murray Dance Studio. One of his greatest accomplishments was dancing for President Ronald Reagan. Ernest is survived by his only daughter, Misty Dawn Hobbs; two grandsons, Jaykob and Jackson. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Burlon E. and Beanna Ross Gentry; three brothers, Burlon E. Gentry Jr., Daniel B. Gentry, and Alan K. Gentry; four sisters, Carol D. Krauth, Melba Stevens, Phylis K. Gentry, and Renita F. Rogers; two nephews, Douglas Gentry and Gregory Gentry; one niece, Amanda Rogers.
The family would like to thank Birchwood Care Center and Hospice for all the care and support. A very special thank you to his niece Luwana Allen for all she has done for him.
