Ernest "Ernie" L. Bond

Ernest L. “Ernie” Bond age 68 of Hamilton passed away Monday April 15, 2024. He was born October 12, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late Ross Bond and Margaret Moore Bond. Mr. Bond was a long time employee of the Butler County Engineer’s Office. He was a “wheeler and dealer” and a jack of all trades. Mr. Bond enjoyed selling and trading guns and knives and was an avid hunter of raccoons and squirrels. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Ellen Bond; father of the late Jason Bond, Tina (James) Smith, and David (Lynsey) Bond; grandfather of Kaylee (Luke) Howard, Trinity Smith, Jimmy Smith, Reid Smith, Cody Bond, Alexis Bond, and Ethan Kelley; and brother of Bill (Effie) Bond and the late Lonnie Bond. A graveside service for Mr. Bond will be held at 2:00 PM Friday April 19, 2024 in New London Cemetery. Casual attire is encouraged for those attending.
