Edward Garrett

Edward Garrett age 90 of Fairfield Township passed away Saturday October 3, 2026. He was born October 16, 1935 in Harveyton, Kentucky the son of the late Elbert Garrett and Laura Bell Campbell Garrett. Mr. Garrett was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for many years as a sheet metal worker. He was a devoted Christian and was a member of East Hamilton Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, boating, and gardening. Mr. Garrett is survived by his beloved wife Helen Garrett; children, Michael Garrett, Danny (Janet) Garrett, Laura Garrett, Lisa (Corey) Wahl, and late Lois Templeton; grandchildren Kelly Templeton, Carson (Matthew) Brousseau, Sonja Southard, and the late Michael Templeton, Danielle Garrett, Daniel Edward Garrett, and Joshua Garrett; and three sisters Ruth (Sidney) Isaacs, Blanche (the late Wilgus) Collins, and Kansallie Collins. He is also preceded in death by several siblings and many other family members. Visitation on Friday October 9, 2026 at the Hilltop Baptist Church, 2425 Mack Road, Fairfield from 11:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 PM, with Pastor Barry Wilson, officiating.
