Earl W. Moore

Earl Wade Moore age 86 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday August 9, 2026. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Hamilton the son of the late John and Nina (nee Isaacs) Moore. He resided in Hamilton but also enjoyed his time living in Haines City, FL. Earl got his first job at 9 years old setting bowling pins, washing cars, and delivering newspapers. He worked many places including General Electric, Clearing Machine, Hamilton Brass and many more before retiring from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1957. Earl was a skilled electrician, carpenter, plumber, roofer, HVAC tech, auto mechanic, and much more. He truly was a jack of all trades and master of all. He loved animals, rescuing many and feeding many more. He was a veteran of The United States Marine Corps serving from 1957-1959 in the Fifth Marine Regiment (1st Division) reaching rank of Corporal. He is survived by his loving wife of over 55 years Vickie Lee Moore; three children Timothy Moore, Philip (Scharlene) Moore, Kristopher Alex (April) Moore; five grandchildren Heather Moore, Michaela Moore, Marissa Moore, Ryan Moore, and Kristopher Moore; two great grandchildren Helix Ridenour and Harmony Moore. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. Earl was also preceded in death by his son Brock Moore and eleven siblings Garney (Lucy) Hobbs, Cecile (Russ) Church, Dallas (Eva) Moore, Virgil (Pearl) Moore, Deloris (Ted) Skalley, Leoma Moore, Floyd (Bernice) Moore, Shirley (Astor) Wagers, Doug Moore, Charles (Linda) Moore, and Teddy Moore. Visitation will be on Friday August 14, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 12:00PM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor Tim Suter officiating.
