Dottie J. Whitaker age 74 of Reading, OH passed away on Thursday October 30, 2025. She was born on October 28, 1951 in London, KY the daughter of the late Floyd and Dora (nee Whitaker) Evans. Dottie retired from Saturday Knight Ltd after many years of service. She loved her dogs and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her loving wife Mary Rackley-Whitaker; four children Charles Whitaker, James Leininger, Steven Leininger, and Chris Leininger; six grandchildren Jeremey, Ashley, Jimmy Ray, Dawn Marie, Holly Anna, and Braiden; two great grandchildren Xavier and Sage Everly; four siblings Rose (the late Lee) Byrd, Charlie (Sue) Woodall, Clifford (Cissy) Nix, and David (Sue) Woodall. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. Dottie was also preceded in death by two brothers Glenn Nix and Jimmie Ray Decker. Visitation will be on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 4:00PM until the time of the memorial service at 6:00PM.
