Doreen E. Pope

Doreen E. Pope age 77 of New Miami, Ohio passed away Sunday November 30, 2025. She was born August 3, 1948 to the late Clyde and Suzette Hesford in Lake Station, Indiana. On January 28, 1982 she married James Pope. She worked for many years as a nurse and then became a dedicated mother and housewife. She enjoyed attending church at New Liberty Baptist and singing in the choir. She greatly enjoyed being a mother above all else. Doreen is survived by her husband of 43 years James Pope; her son James Dwayne Pope; her grandchildren Samantha Gabriel (Cayden Cassano) Pope, Starr Maelynn McCane, Luke Bakk, Skye White, Luke Kaylor, James Metcalf, Elijah Metcalf; one sister Dolly (Les) Salzman and one brother Ed (Sharon) Hesford; close friend Buttons Fields. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doreen was also preceded in death by good friends Earl Cavin Jr. and Denny Fields. Visitation will be at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4 Fairfield on Thursday December 4th from 9:30am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30am. Burial to follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
