Donald "Don" Reed

Donald A. (Don) Reed, age 89, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away at his home on June 19. He was born on March 13, 1935, in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Go Blue!). Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucy, and his four children: Mark Reed, Tim (Terri) Reed, Lisa (Joe) Wiesman, and Terri (Greg Fauver) Reed. He was the proud and loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Don’s greatest joy in life was his family and grandchildren. He spent many years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, working as a firefighter and was a Chaplain in Butler County, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, at Hilltop Baptist Church, 2425 Mack Road, Fairfield, Ohio, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating. As a lifelong fan of the 2023 College Football National Champion Michigan Wolverines, please feel free to show your support of Don’s favorite team by wearing Michigan apparel.

Guests are invited to join the family for lunch at the church following the funeral.
