Dennis R. Denny

Dennis R. Denny age 82 of Fairfield passed away Thursday November 23, 2023. He was born September 7, 1941 in Beckley, West Virginia, the son of the late Archie and Helen Denny. In 1963 he married Sara Rosenbaum and had two children Scott (Sandy Beckner) Denny and Kim (Terry) Zapf; two grandchildren Elizabeth (Joey) Meyer and Jonny Edmison; and two great grandsons William and Henry. Mr. Denny was also preceded in death by his sister Carol Kostoff. Dennis was a kind and gentle man whom everyone loved. His hobbies included cars, fishing, and poker. Dennis began work at the age of 14 fixing neon signs and later attended two years of college for electronics. He worked as a part-time cameraman for WCET and also at Formica. He went to work at Ayers Electric in the union before launching his own company, Denny’s Electric. He operated Denny’s Electric until he retired, passing the reins on to his son, Scott Denny.
