Dennis C. Meier age 72 of West Chester, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025. He was born June 26, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Harry C.Meier and Katherine Lay Meier. On October 5, 1974 he married the love of his life, Joyce Godbey. They went all through school together, but it was after college that God brought their lives together and their history began. Denny loved & played baseball growing up all through school & college as a left handed pitcher. He holds a record at Princeton H.S. with a 12-0 record his senior year. He received a 4 year scholarship in baseball at Eastern Michigan University. His love & involvement with his family, his church, his friends, sports and especially his grandchildren was paramount in his life. He loved going to his kids & grandkids sporting events, celebrating their accomplishments & successes more than anything. He loved serving at Landmark Church & being a part of an amazing church family. He was an avid Cincinnati Sports Fan loving the Bengals, the Reds and the Bearcats. He loved playing pickleball and enjoying retirement life in The Villages, Florida for the past several years. Denny worked in Automobile Dealerships the first 25 years of marriage, then he and Joyce opened their own dealership Mid-Towne Auto Center in 1995 and retired from there 28 years later. His employees were always like family as he loved & cared for every one of them. Denny is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Meier, three children, Jason (Jenn) Meier, Jodi Meier, Jennifer Meier; seven grandchildren, Anthony Loukinas, Abigail Loukinas, Karsyn Meier, Max Meier, Khloe Meier, Casey Clark, and Kyle King; one sister Dale (the late Gene) Walmsley and one brother David (Pam) Meier. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Meier, Jr., David C (Cathy) Meier, and Fred (Jackie) Meier and one sister Kathy Meier, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral visitation is on Saturday December 13, 2025 at Landmark Church, 1600 Glendale-Milford Road, Evendale, Ohio from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Matt Holman, officiating. Burial to follow in Landmark Memorial Gardens. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Fairfield, Ohio is serving the family.
