Delmar McIntosh

Delmar McIntosh, age 78 of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 18, 1947, in Scottsburg, IN to the late Aster and Oma (Smith) McIntosh. Delmar was a man who found joy in the quiet beauty of nature and fulfillment in serving his neighbors. A true outdoorsman, he was happiest when he was out fishing, hunting, bird watching, or simply driving along back roads to take in the local scenery. He had a deep love for all animals and a profound appreciation for history, which he channeled into his active membership with the Liberty Township Historical Society. Delmar’s dedication to his community was evident in his years of service as a volunteer Fireman and EMT for Liberty Township. Delmar is survived by his wife Vicki (Copeland) McIntosh; his daughters Tina McIntosh and Deana (Tim) Brown; his grandson Randy (Logan Portwood) Brown; his great grandchildren Axel Powell and Eve Brown; his nieces and nephews Jamie Malarkey, Jimmy Abner, Randy Abner, Lynn Knight and Doug Knight. He was also preceded in death by his brother and sisters Doris Knight, Peggy Haynes and Bert Bowling. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
