Daniel Philpot, III

Daniel Philpot III age 65 of Middletown, OH passed away on Thursday February 19, 2026. He was born on June 28, 1960 in Hamilton the son of Judy (Angel) and the late Daniel Philpot Jr. Danny Boy is survived by his loving wife of over 28 years, Lisa Philpot; three children Eryn (Eric) Carter, Nick Philpot, and Keith (Heaven) Hall; nine grandchildren Ethan Carter, Eli Carter, Elaine Carter, Emry Carter, Ean Carter, Evan Carter, Mahlaree Mahlerwein, Hayley Metcalf , and Ryan Metcalf; two siblings David (Marlene) Philpot and Teresa (Scott) Durham. Danny also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. He was also preceded in death by one son Gregory Hall and grandson Elam Daniel Carter. Danny Boy was a kind soul that would do anything for anyone who needed it. He was often found with his cats (Ross and Rachel) listening to podcasts about the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He enjoyed talking with his brother and son about how to fix both organizations and get them to the Super Bowl and World Series. His favorite thing to do was spend time with family, more specifically his grandchildren, beaming with pride about their accomplishments and adventures. Danny will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He loved big and he loved loudly, the only way a Philpot knows how to do so. Visitation will be on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Pastor Steve Botts officiating.
