Christine Henry age 80 of Woodlawn, OH passed away on Monday September 15, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1944 in Cincinnati the daughter of the late Jason and Hattie Mae (nee Franklin) Allen. Christine Allen & James Henry Sr. met in 1957 and they later married on August 17, 1960. They moved to Chester Rd in 1963. Later on, they opened a family Pony Keg in Lincoln Heights where they worked side by side, and kept the community loaded laughs and bags of candy & other items. Christine began working at Monsanto and worked her way up to a machine operator up until they closed down after 17yrs, then she went on to work & retired from Riverwood Evendale after 16yrs. She loved Bingo, her coffee, cigarettes and Jerry Springer. There wasn’t a day where she would come home and her husband wouldn’t have a warm dinner awaiting for her and the family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was married to James “All-State” Henry for sixty-four years and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2025; Christine is survived by seven children Barry Gauntt, Larry Jackson, Demetrious (Michelle) Henry, Dawanda Henry, James W. Henry Jr, Jerod Henry, and Kelvin Henry; thirty-four grandchildren; many many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two siblings Geraldine McDowell, Lester (Sherri) Allen, and  Charity (the late Tommie) O'Neal; one special nieces Jacqueline Brewton. Mrs. Henry also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. She was also preceded in death by six siblings Alfonso Patterson, Jerry Allen, Charles Allen, Ernestine Allen, Lawrence Allen, and Dorothy Kidd; one granddaughter Amber Robinson; two great grandsons Ontario Young and Landon Allen. Visitation will be on Saturday September 27, 2025 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM.
