It’s with a heavy heart the family announces the passing of Christian Nathaniel Smith, age 25, he was born November 26, 1997 and went to be with the Lord October 18th 2023.
Christian Smith achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG) in the United States Army. He was a perfectionist, hard worker, loyal, dedicated soldier as well as patriot to his country. He had proud intentions of continuing his military accomplishments in some form of law enforcement or first responder related area to continue his passion to help others.
Christian was a beloved son, brother, uncle and husband and friend. He was an extremely caring, loving, and compassionate person. He always shared with his father his passion to help people and make them happy. His presence was infectious, his smile and the way he carried himself would always bring a smile and comfort with a genuine feeling of peace and happiness when you were around him. Christian was a talented and gifted baseball player throughout his early life. He loved deer hunting with his father. He enjoyed various other hobbies including golf, exploring the outdoors, hiking and ATV trips through the woods. He was a gifted and passionate artist who would always bring a smile and genuine feeling of happiness with anything he would draw on paper. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. Christian will be forever missed and eternally loved and honored by his family and friends. The world lost an amazing soul and heaven gained a beautiful angel.
Christian is survived by his parents, Brent and Diana Smith; his siblings, Jordan McCann, Brent Jr (Katie) Smith, Kayla Baker, Mariah Smith, Anna Smith, and Devin Smith; his grandmother Judith Suding; nieces Maci Smith, Annabella McCain, and Koraline McCain; nephew Ethan McCain and his wife Samantha Vander. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday October 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Josh Willis, officiating.
