Cheryl H. Taylor age 75 of Fairfield Township passed away Thursday February 16, 2023. She was born September 20, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Faith (nee Huddleston) Hammann. Cheryl was a 1965 graduate of Our Lady of Angels High School and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Accounting. She worked for the City of Cincinnati, was an engineer at General Electric, retiring in 1992, and worked for her husband Kent’s business, Taylor Oil Company. She loved reading, word games, and spending time with her family and friends. On March 17, 1990 in Hamilton, Ohio she married Kent L. Taylor. Cheryl is survived by her husband Kent; children Kelly (Tim) Brown, the late Christina (Wayne) Stinespring, and James Shaul; grandchildren Wayne, Nick, and Sarah (Joe) Stinespring, and Benjamin (Allison) Theis and Matthew (Kristin) Theis; fourteen great grandchildren; siblings Edward (Jan) Hammann, the late Janis (Emmett) Porter, Timothy (Trish) Hammann, Hollis (Diane) Hammann, and Michael (Bobbie) Hammann; brother in law Todd Taylor; and many nieces and nephews, especially Nikki Peters, who had a “daughter-like” bond with Cheryl. She was also preceded in death by her in laws Homer and Etta Taylor and her many four legged friends she enjoyed over the years. Cheryl will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her remarkable love and kindness shall forever live in our hearts. At Cheryl’s request no funeral services will be observed.
