Carol Ann Bridenbaugh, aged 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025. Born in February 3, 1935, Carol was known for her boundless energy, kindness, and a beautiful smile that could light up any room.
Carol was a beacon of love and humor, always ready to share a laugh or lend a helping hand. Her spirit was characterized by her devotion to her faith as a devout Jehovah’s Witness, attending the Kingdom Hall, where she formed many cherished relationships as she served her community. Throughout her life, Carol was an avid sports enthusiast, and she excelled at fast pitch baseball in her younger years. She loved all of God’s creations, caring for animals big and small with compassion. Above all, Carol was a devoted matriarch, deeply loved by her family and any person she had the pleasure of meeting. She was a true caretaker, always placing the needs of others before her own, and lived her life boundlessly spreading love, light and kindness to all.
Carol is survived by her son, Barry Cook, daughter-in-law Diana Cook, granddaughters Shara Cook, Jessica Cook Dickerson, Cayley Ward, and Sierra Ward, grandson Brandon Bridenbaugh, as well as her great-grandson and caregiver, Jacob Thrower, along with 14 other great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Hazel Lanham, sisters Betty and Margie, her beloved husband, Lew Bridenbaugh, and their daughter Trina Bridenbaugh.
Carol’s life was a testament to the joy and love she brought into the world, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
