Carl B. Augustine Jr., age 76 of Hamilton, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was born on August 28, 1950, in Hamilton, the son of the late Carl B. Augustine Sr. and Dorothy (Muter) Augustine.
Carl was a devout Christian whose life was defined by his unwavering faith and his deep desire to share God's message. A lifelong, dedicated member of the New Miami Church of Christ, he poured his devotion into the written word, publishing several books about God and continuously writing about His infinite love. Beyond his faith, Carl loved his family fiercely. He was a deeply devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother who cherished every moment spent with those he held dear. When he wasn't writing or spending time with his family, Carl could often be found casting a line while fishing, quietly watching the birds, or enthusiastically cheering on his favorite teams, the Bengals and the Reds. He is now peacefully reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Teresa, and is undoubtedly casting his line in deeper waters, finally "Gone Fishin'."
Carl is survived by his loving children, Tara (Jason) Gamble and Sherri (Wayne) Estridge; his cherished grandchildren, Jordan Augustine, Chance (Jamie) Augustine, Zach (Deirdre) Fugate, Ryley Fugate, Lily Fugate and step grandchild Caden Wood, his dear brothers, Robert (Nora) Augustine and Tim (Shelly) Augustine.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Teresa (Weber) Augustine, Carl was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Augustine, and his sister, Cindy Augustine.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Miami Church of Christ, 104 Highland Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. A funeral service celebrating Carl's life and faith will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Hickory Flats Cemetery in Hamilton. The Webster Funeral Home is honored to serve the Augustine family.
