Brian Lee Wieland, 48, passed away on June 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and unwavering support for the people and animals fortunate enough to be part of his life.
Brian was the beloved husband of Cari Wieland and the devoted father of Avery and Bridge Wieland. He was a proud and loving stepfather to Tyler and Sarah Rave, and Dakota and Sierra Seward. Family was at the center of everything Brian did, and he treasured every moment spent with those he loved, especially his Aunt Bev & Uncle Tracy.
He is also survived by his brother, Doc (Brande) Wieland, and by his cherished nieces and nephews, Kenzie, Bash, Bella, Bayze and Trey, who affectionately knew him as "Uncle Tank." Brian's larger-than-life presence, sense of humor, and generous heart made him a favorite uncle and a constant source of encouragement and support.
Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Shawna Wieland; his mother, Barbara Wooton, his father, William Wieland and stepfather Arnold Wooton.
For many years, Brian dedicated his life to dogs and the people who loved them. As the owner of Vacay9 and a respected dog trainer, he helped countless families build stronger bonds with their pets. Brian believed that time with dogs should be one of life's greatest joys, and through his patience, expertise, and genuine care, he made that possible for so many. The relationships he built with clients, their dogs, and the community extended far beyond business and became lasting friendships.
When he wasn't working with dogs, Brian could often be found enthusiastically supporting the people he loved. Whether sitting in the audience at dance competitions cheering on the dancers, coaches and parents who helped them succeed, or standing on the sidelines of basketball games rooting on his nephews, Brian showed up wholeheartedly. Most recently, you could find him supporting his brother’s baseball team and spreading joy at the State Championship as the Fenwick Falcon. He celebrated others' accomplishments as if they were his own and never missed an opportunity to encourage those around him.
Brian will be remembered for his kindness, his loyalty, his infectious enthusiasm, and his ability to make everyone feel valued. He had a gift for bringing people together, offering support when it was needed most, and finding joy in the successes and happiness of others. His impact will continue to be felt in the lives of his family, friends, clients, and the many dogs whose lives he helped shape.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Webster Funeral Home, with memorial service from 4:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dress code: NO black attire, please wear something colorful, like Tank’s spirit! A Celebration of Life will be held afterward at Vacay9, where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor Brian's remarkable life.
Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, Brian's love, laughter, and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
