Brenda S. Hacker age 72 of Fairfield Township passed away Tuesday June 11, 2024. She was born May 12, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Carl Sturgill and Ida Smith Sturgill. Brenda was the owner and operator of Hacker’s Cleaning Service. She was a member the New Miami Church of God. She was a fun person to be around and loved her family immensely. Brenda had the gift of loving and serving others around her. If you went to her home at any time she would see to it that you were fed. She was loved by many and will sadly missed. Mom was born with a servant’s heart. She had a beautiful way of loving with every fiber of her being, she loved her family and friends fiercely. True blue till the end. Despite any pain in her own life, she gave and received love freely. Always ready to fight with and for you. Always willing to lend a hand or a word of encouragement. Mom was kind and forgiving. She had a great sense of humor and was one of the strongest women you had ever met. She was also given the gift of gab. She could speak to the president of a company or a homeless person on the street and treated them equally. She was loved by so many. She was a bright light in this dark world. Our hearts are forever broken. We will carry her love and our beautiful memories inside forever. The world was definitely a better place with her in it. If you knew our mother you loved her. Hug daddy and Richard for us. Tell the rest of the family we will see you all again some day. Until then you live on forever through us. Your loving daughters.
She was married to Marvin Hacker and he preceded her in death in 2020. Brenda is the beloved mother of Angel (Dennis) Adams, Carla (Krissy) Kerby, and the late Richard Hacker, who passed away in 2005; loving grandmother of Kara Kidd (fiancee Jeremy) Richie (Jenn) Hacker, Allison Fields, Kristen Hacker, Natalie Fields, Hannah Adams, Lance Adams, and Logan Adams; five great grandchildren; and dear sister of Charlene (Richard) Sturgill-Longtin, Pat (the late Buck) Parson, and Den (Molly) Sturgill; and special aunt to Bob and Tim Bailey.
