Brandon A. Hudson age 47 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday December 5, 2023. He was born September 29, 1976 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of Karen (Huentelman) Hudson and the late Dr. Alan T. Hudson. Brandon unconditionally loved and was loved by his entire family. He is survived by his wife and love of his life Barbie Hudson; three sons Keegan Hudson, Garrett Hudson, and Connor Hudson; two brothers Matt (Lindsey) Hudson and Todd (Jenna) Hudson; nieces and nephews Dylan, Ethan, Eva, and Griffin Hudson; and special “daughter-like” figures, Nicole and Cameron. Brandon was preceded in death by grandparents Sheila Hudson, I.F. Hudson, Carolyn Huntelman, and Richard Huntelman, and uncles Mick Hudson and Robert Hudson. Brandon was a very cherished family member to his many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and “Brothers” at Hamilton Fire Department and many surrounding fire departments. Brandon Hudson embodied many of the traits that the world needs more of, a huge caring heart, a role model for many, the depiction of a devout husband, a loving brother and a son with endless love for his parents. Brandon demonstrated immense love for so many, which he thoroughly enjoyed showing you in his huge smile and ensuing monster bear hug. He was always focused on caring for others and found his calling as a fireman with the City of Hamilton with 23 years of service. He also served as a paramedic and was a member of the Firefighter’s Honor Guard. Additionally, he was a Fire Instructor at Butler Tech, and was most recently awarded the “Ex Corde Award” by the students he served so proudly. He was a youth leader, and an elder at BridgeWater Church. An avid animal lover and proud owner of many great dogs over the years including his favorite girl and hiking buddy Mollie. So many people in the community were touched by Brandon’s overwhelming love and the kindness that he shared. His laughter and incredible smile brought joy to all who were lucky enough to cross paths with him. The world lost a very special human in Brandon Hudson. He was a hero and friend to so many. May you rest in peace Captain Hudson and share your light with all of those on the other side and know they are lucky to have you.
