Barbara K. Wright 10-16-1942- 2-15-2026 was born a rebel with a cause—the second daughter in a house full of women. Two more sisters would follow, completing a family of four girls who shaped one another’s lives with love, strength, and unbreakable bonds. Barbara lived her life with grace. She was strong in ways that mattered most and loved fiercely, fully, and without judgment. Barbara was beautiful to her core—inside and out—and her warmth was felt by everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. She was the life of every family gathering—always dancing, always laughing, always ready with an ornery joke and a sense of humor that was truly unmatched. Her laughter was hearty and contagious, her smile unforgettable. For more than 50 years, Barbara shared her life with friends and neighbors in the same community, forming lifelong connections built on kindness and care. She devoted herself to her family, especially in lovingly caring for her mother every day, selflessly sacrificing her own time to be there when she was needed most. Barbara had a deep love for nature. She fed the squirrels daily, always had her beloved pet by her side, and is survived by her cherished kitty, Bob Dylan. Her heart was as big as the ocean, and her compassion knew no limits. Barbara was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. She touched every life she entered, and no one who ever met her will forget her warmth, her laughter, or the love she so freely gave. And we, her family, will carry her love with us always. She is proceeded in death by her parents Eldon and Mary Theobald; sister Lois Ventri; nephew Greg Hodges; brother- in -law Denny Kelly; and long- time partner Harold Hale. Barbara was survived by her sisters Cheryl (Denny) Flaig and Pam Kelly; her daughters Denise Huff and Angie (Mike) Ealy; her grandchildren Greg (Jennifer) Huff, Rick (Kylie) Hensler, Kaitlynn (Cameron) Klaege, Russell (Amber) Chandler, and Mindi (Brian) Brown; great grandchildren Carter, Grayson and Declan Huff, Mason and Kallie Hensler, Spencer Klaege, Camilla and Amaia Chandler, Bryson and Liliana Brown; and three generations of nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Fairfield is privileged to serve the family. Online condolences can be made on our website at www.websterfuneralhomes.com
