Arthur Douglas “Doug” Moore, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026. A devoted husband, father, Papaw, and Big Pap, Doug is now resting in the loving embrace of his Lord and Savior, free from pain. His family finds comfort in his favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:7: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Born in Wolfe County, Kentucky, on August 9, 1945, to Velmer and Myrtle Moore, Doug lived with quiet grace, unwavering dedication, and incredible generosity. He was a kind-hearted soul who touched many lives without seeking recognition.

A U.S. Army veteran, Doug served his country before dedicating over forty years to the Ford Motor Company. His retirement marked the end of a long career built on hard work and perseverance.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Judy. Their enduring love story was a true partnership and an inspiration to all. Doug’s light will continue to shine through his cherished children and their families: Yolanda (Mike) Collopy, Regina (Chad) Chapman, and Greg (Wendi) Moore. He also considered his niece, Vicki (Dave) Anglin, like a daughter.

As "Papaw," Doug adored his grandchildren: McKenzie Collopy, Carlei (Thomas) Hughes, Seth (Cheyenne) Russell, Dakota (Netanya) Chapman, and Lauren Moore. He was lovingly known as “Big Pap” to his great-grandsons, Brantley, Braxton, and Briar. He also deeply loved his many nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his siblings: Ralph (Geneva) Moore, Lee (Kathleen) Moore, Thomas "Buster” (Hazel) Moore, Lloyd Moore, Malta Fugate, and Dorothy (Harold) Smith. He is survived by his dear sister-in-law, Carolyn Moore.

Doug's final wishes were simple yet meaningful: a single red rose and the American flag resting gracefully upon his coffin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Doug's name to the Hospice of Cincinnati.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Doug's remarkable life on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way, Fairfield, OH 45014. Visitation starting at 11:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00PM. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio with Military Honors.

Doug's gentle spirit, unwavering love, and inspiring memory will forever be a cherished blessing. He will be deeply missed.
