Adrienne P. Balmer

Adrienne P. Balmer age 81 of Fairfield passed away Monday November 22, 2021. She was born January 3, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of the late Joseph Parenti and Margaret (nee Squires) Parenti. On June 25, 1961 she married Donald Balmer, Sr. and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2011. Mrs. Balmer worked for the U.S. government and for an advertising firm in New York City that promoted the United States Space Program. She moved to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and was a gymnastics coach in Georgetown, South Carolina. Mrs. Balmer is survived by her four children, Donald (Jennifer) Balmer, Jr., Joseph Balmer, Margaret (Jeffery) Peters, and Adrienne (Dennis) DuVan; six grandchildren, Allison (Tim) Abbott, Christopher Peters, Elizabeth Peters, Lance DuVan, Dennis DuVan,III, and Grace DuVan;, and four great great grandchildren Aubrey Abbott, Zachary Abbott, Joshua Abbott, and Nova DuVan. A memorial service will be conducted by the family in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina at a later date.
